Going through a divorce and struggling with finances

Dear One,

I want you to take a few deep breaths and bow your head and go before the Throne of Grace. Ask your Heavenly Father to show His presence and give you the grace and mercy that you need to get through this crisis. The Lord certainly already knows, but He tells us to ask, seek and knock. Not only do you ask Him for His mercy but to shelter you in the cleft of the rock (like He did Moses) until the storm passes by. Do not for one minute think that God does not know or care what He happening toyou. If you are truly a child of God, He has your name engraved on the palm of His hands and He will never let you go.

Get into the Word and claim the promises that are yours as His child. Whether you understand or not, it is an act of your will that will overcome the enemy who is attacking you in your time of need. He is good at it and will do anything to bring defeat into your life. Stand strong and remember, stronger is He that is in you than he that is in the world. Get into Ephesians 6 and put your armor on. You are in a full fledge war and if you do your part, God will do His, but if you give into fear or self-pity, the enemy will will the battle – NOT THE WAR BECAUSE YOU MUST NOT GIVE UP. TRUST AND OBEY BECAUSE THERE IS NO OTHER WAY.

Your husband will pay for his sin in the end. Right now it looks like he is winning, but it is the ways of the world and that will be his only gratification in the end.

God will provide for you. It may not be in the way you are accustomed to, butHe will provide for you. Stay in the word and get with Christians to hold you up until this battle is won.

I am so sorry that you have to go through this at this season in our life but it is not in vain. You are paying the price of someone’s else’s wrong choices. You can do it because there is no other way out. God will see you through, but you must do it His way whether you understand or not.

In the end, God will unfold His blessings on you because you did it His way and you trusted Him in the heat of the furnace.

You will be in my prayers.
