Dear Struggling One,
You do indeed have a full platter. The way to approach it is one bite at a time and taking every morsel to the throne of God and ask Him for discernment, wisdom and knowledge.
I believe every 15 year old has a self-esteem problem, especially in this materialistic world and having to keep up with the fashion and body figures of today. Take the time not only to pray for your daughter but do it out loud with her. Let her know in your prayers that she is special to you and God and in the long run that is all that matters. It may seem awkward at first but believe me it will be music to her ears and it certainly will make the enemy mad as a hornet.
Your husband admitting to you that he has this problem is a silent call for help. He probably realizes this is not the lifestyle for him and the guilt is probably eating him alive. Again in you can pray out loud with him, do it. If not, get on your knees and bind the enemy in Jesus' name and if you can ask your husband to see a counselor. He is seeking help. Let him know you want to help him.
I will be praying for you and your family.
In Him,
Sandy Denton
